Map Collections, 1500–2003

The Library of Congress of the United States had in their collection about 4.5 million maps. The website named, Map Collection was established in order to let the general public have an access to these maps. The Map Collections of the Library of Congress has digitized versions of maps belonging to the Public Domain of North America, mainly the united states.
